The Annapolis Town Center is one of my favorite local run spots due to the people I’ve encountered while running there. Annapolis Charm City Run hosts run clubs where participants loop around the Town Center while sharing smiles and miles. We either do the large loop around the Town Center or cut through the middle to pass by the shops. During the holiday season, the center street is lit up with holiday decorations making for a cheerful running environment. Whether you attend occasionally for a fun event or become a regular you’ll be able to enjoy great company at this local run spot and maybe even make some new friends along the way.
Pros of this run spot:
-Gathering place for the local running community
-Run club often has theme nights and shoe demos
-Easy loop of about a mile allowing for easy ability to have variety in how far your want to go
-Run clubs are open to any pace whether you want to run, jog, or walk
Cons of this run spot:
-Lots of traffic/cars/intersections to be mindful of
-Not a great location for speed work or a solo run
Overall, the Annapolis Town Center is a great run spot to meet local runners on run club event days. If you’re looking to access your local running community it’s a great place to go!
