Is there a pace requirement for your training?
Whether you are a walker looking to take your first running steps or an experienced 5Ker looking to improve your speed, there is a place in our training group for you! Each group targets a local 5K race but regardless of if you are racing at the end of the program, this group will help you establish a consistent running routine.
Do the training groups have an attendance requirement?
While attendance to group runs are highly encouraged to get the most out training, there is no mandatory attendance requirement. Please attend as you are able to and reach out to me directly with concerns around injury, weather, etc. for specific group run days.
Do I have to run the race the group is targeting?
While we encourage joining for the race it is not a requirement. You are welcome to find another race to do or do the race distance on your hometown streets.
Where do the group runs occur?
Location of the training groups run will be sent in weekly emails and will vary. We will sometimes meet at the Charm City Run Annapolis store. All location will be local to Annapolis and can be adjusted based on feedback from the group, suggestions are welcome!
