Lake Elkhorn Park provides a picturesque running loop surrounding a lake in additional to a connected trail system that can be used for longer runs. Located right near Charm City Columbia it’s a great location to meet up for a group run and enjoy the scenery. The loop around the park is about 2 miles long and can be enjoyed for many laps.

-Access to bathrooms and water fountain on the path
-Trail is cleared after it snows in the winter
-Multiple parking spots available
-Opportunity for short or long run with 2 mile paved loop connected to surrounding trails
Cons of this run spot:
-Trail system can be confusing given there’s many turn points
-Can be crowded
-Geese frequently hang out on the trail and may need to be avoided
